In a cool Mediterranean garden a generous, varied breakfast is served amidst hibiscus and bouganvillea and the scent of orange and lemon blossom. A large veranda with maxi Sat TV screen, a spacious conservatory, and a well-run bar serving delicious cold snacks, comprise the lounge area. The hotel is personally managed by the owners; fascinating Aeolian pictures and artefacts, a veritable museum in themselves, line the walls and these, together with the characteristic Aeolian courtesy and friendliness, create a very special attractive and welcoming atmosphere. Situated in the magnificent setting of the Aeolian Islands, the Oriente offers every comfort and amenity. It is located in a quiet, central part of the town in the archaeological area of Contrada Diana, 50 metres from the main street and 300 metres from the port, an ideal spot in which to spend a pleasant, restful holiday enjoyng the sun and sea.
